SVELTUS launches the range "Eco'Fitness" an ecodesign range
It is to Roche-la-Molière that the Sveltus company conceives and makes for more than 10 years the accessories of fitness.
The manager of the company conclued that: " the customers who buy barbells buy a ballast “to raise” the more important it is the chosen weight and not the material which serves as ballast. The disks of standard barbells are made in Europe or in Asia: they are steel covered with plastic, or they are plastic packagings filled with cement.
To be competitive with regard to the Asian imports, the Sveltus company opted for a strategy to reduce its delays of manufacturing and optimize the quality of its products, for a price more competitive than the basic importer.
To do it, Sveltus develops a new recyclable plastic range of products which the customer fills himself with some water. Consequence: saving of time, and economy because the production is completely made in France. Of more this new range of products allows to make several exercises with a single product.
The brand Eco' Fitness deposited for this new range positions in a initiative of sustainable development with an original approach based on the ecodesign. Here it is barbells, bars, disks which become ecodesigned. Sevltus chose to make a commitment in a production more “economic” while proposing very competitive prices.
The Pole Eco-conception and Management of the Life cycle accompanied Sveltus company for finalization and marketing of the range Eco' Fitness. Thanks to the pole Eco-conception of the CCI of Saint Etienne/Montbrison the company was able to count the gain of greenhouse gas generated by the manufacturing and the marketing of its barbells with regard to the Asian imports of standard barbells:-61 % of savings of greenhouse gas (Ademe’s Programm)
"The principle of a barbell is to be heavy, our range Eco' Fitness is light: a simple envelope of recycled plastic, which the customer fills at home with some water. The KIT of disks of 13 kilos weighs before filling only 3 kilos. " It is what declares Robert KRUPA executive of the company since his creation.
The Sveltus company exposed these last innovations at Munich in the last specialized fair ISPO, and we can say that the perception of the European distributors is very positive as regards this range Eco' Fitness. It allows to reduce the impact on the environment and to be "economic" |
