Awareness Raising Campaign for Electrical and Electronics SMEs
ecodesignarc : On behalf of the European Commission, DG Enterprise, the Fraunhofer IZM performs a project to raise awareness among SMEs regarding ecodesign issues. Regional partners in this project are 17 universities, chambers of commerce, industry associations, consultants etc.

Cette nouvelle directive contient une interdiction minimale de cadmium et de mercure ainsi qu'un objectif de recyclage d'ici 2016 au plus tard.
EBFRIP the European Brominated Flame Retardant Industry Panel, was formed in the mid-1980’s. Its members are the major manufacturers of brominated flame retardants in the European market. EBFRIP members Albemarle, Eurobrom, representing ICL-IP and Great Lakes Chem. Corp, - are joined by a number of major polymer producers as associate members make up the panel. EBFRIP operates under the regulations and guidance of Cefic, the European Chemical Industry Confederation based in Brussels. Cefic also houses EFRA, the European Flame Retardants Association, which represents all flame retardant producers.
The International Lead and Zinc Study Group (ILZSG) is an intergovernmental organisation which regularly brings together twenty-eight member countries in an international forum to exchange information on lead and zinc. ILZSG provides a unique and globally recognised source of industry statistics and organises twice yearly meetings between producing and consuming countries, industry and government representatives.
The EPR2 Project promotes environmentally safe, responsible, and cost-effective management of electronic equipment that has reached the end of its useful life or no longer meets the needs of its original owners. The project will help identify and prioritize ways to overcome market, economic, regulatory, administrative, and institutional barriers to effective management of electronic equipment throughout its life cycle.
